FCA had a bad day in Frankfurt, but on Saturday 15th February, Augsburg will hope to do better and get another home win. Central defender Felix Uduokhai spoke to FCA Fan-TV in an interview and is positive that the team will succeed.
After the comprehensive 5-0 defeat in Frankfurt, the disappointment was tangible for not only the fans, but also the players, so says Felix Uduokhai. At first it was “difficult” to come to terms with the result, but the next day there was an open and honest analysis of the game. Uduokhai believes that this mutual communication is important. “We’re already feeling better”.
The motto could indeed be, “new week, new luck”. Most importantly is the arrival of SC Freiburg at the WWK-ARENA on Saturday. Freiburg are playing incredibly well this season, which few observers could have expected at the beginning of the season. However, Uduokhai sees their achievement as “deserved given the good work that is being done there”. That is why it’s important for FCA to be vigilant and show their own strength at home in front of their own fans. But it is also important that “we take the support of the fans, give our all, and face down anything they throw at us,” demands the 22.year-old.
