Philipp Max: “It was hard work today, but I’m proud of the team and what we’ve achieved. No one gave us a shot before the season, but we believed in ourselves and each other. We wanted to win at all costs today and to top it all off, Alfred managed to get himself back on the scoresheet after a long time out injured.”
Michael Gregoritsch: “The stadium was rocking today and we wanted to make it up to the fans after the four straight losses – we owed it to them. It’s a brilliant feeling to have secured our safety with three games to go still, but I think our play this season has warranted it.”
Alfred Finnbogason: “It was a great day for the team and for me personally. To get all three points and to score in my first game back was very emotional. It’s reward for getting through a very difficult time. It was everything I hoped for. We wanted to show our fans that securing our safety was the only thing on our minds.”
Jonathan Schmid: “We can celebrate now, because it’s a big achievement to have reached the 40 point mark. The pressure’s off now, but we still want to finish well in these last few games and get as many points as we can.”
Manuel Baum: “Finally we managed to get another win at home, but as a coach you can always pick out things that can be improved upon. We didn’t really execute our counter-attacks very well and could have made life easier for ourselves. In general though, the attacking line-up I went with paid off. “
