Both South Koreans will therefore miss the preparation for the second half of the season. As they will be joining up with Paulo Bento’s squad, the two South Koreans will be unavailable for the following games: Fortuna Düsseldorf (H) (Saturday 19th January, 15:30 CET), Borussia Mönchengladbach (A) (Saturday 26th January, 15:30 CET) and Mainz (H) (Sunday 3rd February, 15:30 CET).
South Korea will play against the Philippines (7th January), Kirgizstan (11th January) as well as China (16th January). The final of the Asia Cup will be played on the 1st February in Abu Dhabi.
