The FC Augsburg first team took part in their first training session of pre-season at the WWK ARENA on Tuesday. Head coach Manuel Baum took a short session ahead of the first friendly on Wednesday which will follow a second training session.
Manuel Baum was supported by his new-look coaching team. Zdenko Miletic (goalkeeeping coach) and Andreas Bäumler (rehab and athletic coach) were accompanied by Jonas Scheuermann (former technical coach, no assistant coach) and Florian Ernst (assistant coach) to assist Baum. “Jonas Scheuermann and Florian Ernst are well-known faces at FC Augsburg as they have already worked in the club’s academy. Both are familiar with the sporting ethics of the club and will bring their skills so as to help Augsburg achieve its aims. I’m pleased to have them on board,” said Manuel Baum before training.
