The midfielders Georg Teigl and Jan Moravek have extended their contracts with FCA until 30th June 2022.
FCA had already announced the contract extension of home-grown talent Raphael Framberger until 2024 on Thursday, and now they have announced a further two contract extensions.
“I’m really grateful for the chance to play Bundesliga football. FCA have given me a opportunity that I’d really like to utilise. I’m therefore very much looking forward to the next few years in Augsburg,” said Georg Teigl, who has been under contract with FCA since 2016.
Jan Moravek, who has been wearing the FCA shirt since 2012, is also very happy at the prospect of working together for an extended period: “I’ve always said that Augsburg has become my second home because I feel so at home in the city and with the club. It’s therefore so great that I will continue playing for Augsburg for the coming years.”
“We know of the sporting and personal qualities of Georg Teigl and Jan Moravek. We’re therefore very happy that both can see a future with Augsburg and have decided to sign a contract extension with the club,” said Stefan Reuter, FCA Sporting Director, about the contract extensions.
