Welcome to the FCA family, Noah
Our next summer transfer was recently announced: Noah Sarenren Bazee has moved from Hannover 96 to FC Augsburg. For Noah, the move to Augsburg was a decision very close to his heart and the family feel to the club as well as the philosophy behind it is what convinced him.
Noah Sarenren Bazee was full of glee when he made a visit to the club shop - he’s already got an FCA T-shirt, but he would probably prefer his own kit. “I already knew after my first conversation with Stefan Reuter that I wanted to come here,” said Noah. In terms of his aims for next season, he wants to be able to support the Augsburg team with his prior experience as a Bundesliga player. The 22-year-old has played 29 games in the Bundesliga and 2. Bundesliga for Hannover 96, and managed to get 10 goals to his name during those matches.
Noah developed a huge amount of his footballing ability in Lower Saxony. Before he was called up to the senior squad, the German-Nigerian played at JFC Allertal and then in the U19 team for TSV Havelse, before going through the youth team at Hannover 96. In 19 games for Hannvoer 96 II, the winger scored seven goals and set up eight for his teammates.
Next step with FC Augsburg
Noah describes himself as a calm type of person and a family man, so the family feel to FCA was a positive from the outset: “For me it’s really important that everyone is connected. I’m really looking forward to being here and want to everything I can with Augsburg to achieve success.” FC Augsburg is very much looking forward to the next five years together, Noah and so we’re wishing our new signing a very warm welcome.
