Sarenren Bazee: “I want to pay back the trust”
Noah Sarenren Bazee has arrived in Augsburg but is yet to train with his new club. After tearing an ankle ligament at the beginning of the year, the new arrival is in the recovery phase of his injury and has begun training with the ball.
In his first interview with the media at the WWK ARENA, Noah Sarenren Bazee gave his first impressions. “The team welcomed me really well and it’s just fun to be around the guys. I’m already looking forward to when I can be back out on the pitch.” The transfer to Augsburg came at the right time for the 22 year old, who progressed through the youth ranks at Hannover 96 before being called up to the first team. “I spent six years at Hannover, three of them in the first team. I experienced a lot there, but the transfer and the new challenge was necessary.”
New home in Augsburg
Noah has moved from the north to the south of the country, but he already feels at home. “I have friends in the south and it is a nice way of life here. In the south the days are usually warmer – I will definitely settle in well here.”
The decision to come to Augsburg was not a difficult one after discussions with Stefan Reuter and club representatives. “The trust that they have given me here is not taken for granted. Of course I am unbelievably happy about it. I want to repay the trust by being back on the field as quickly as possible.”
