Gregoritsch and Max unable to celebrate milestones

The game on Saturday against Bayer 04 Leverkusen was Michael Gregoritsch and Philipp Max’s 100th game in the Bundesliga. However, they were unable to celebrate their 100th Bundesliga game with a win as they lost 1-0 to Leverkusen. Philipp Max said: “The 100th game is a good achievement for me, but it does not matter after our defeat. We didn’t play badly again. We stood up well against a strong Leverkusen attack and defended well, but then we conceded an unlucky goal. It is a running theme this season and that is what has been in my head and not my 100 game milestone.”
