The 2020/21 season in numbers
The 2020/21 season has come to a close, and it’s the perfect time to look back on some FCA highlights. In our fourth season review, we’re focusing on who covered the most ground for the club. Some of the top players in this category impressed despite only picking up a few appearances for FCA.
Fredrik Jensen averaged a club-high 13.50km per 90 minutes last season. Injuries limited the 23-year-old to just 13 appearances in 2020/21 (1 start, 12 as a sub). Whenever the Finland international was on the pitch, he made sure to go the distance.
Jan Morávek came in second in this category, covering an average of 12.65km per 90 minutes. He made five appearances in 2020/21, including three starts and two as a substitute.
In third is André Hahn, who ran hard in addition to picking up 13 goal involvements in 2020/21. The midfielder covered 12.33km per 90 minutes on average last season.
Like Jensen, Alfred Finnbogason was also sidelined by injuries last season. The Iceland international still made 17 appearances for FCA, averaging 12.06km per 90 minutes.
In fifth is Rani Khedira, who covered an average of 12.03km per 90 minutes in what was his final season with the club.
