Five friendlies scheduled for August
Opening game on Saturday against Heimstetten
The first friendly of pre-season is just around the corner, as FCA face SV Heimstetten on Saturday. The game will kick off at 15:30 CEST and will be held behind closed doors due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
However, fans will still be able to watch the game live on the FCA website, where the game will be streamed live by FCA TV. Each of the other pre-season friendlies will be available to view in the same place, with a special subscription offer available.
On Wednesday 12th August Augsburg will face SpVgg Unterhaching and former FCA man Stephan Hain, who scored the goal to seal our promotion to the Bundesliga in 2011. Three days later (Saturday 15th August) the team will travel to face 1. FC Nürnberg.
Heiko Herrlich’s men will then test match up against third-division newcomers Türkgücü München on Thursday 20th August, before a trip to second-tier side SSV Jahn Regensburg on Saturday 29th August, who achieved back-to-back promotions under Herrlich in 2016 and 2017.
The kick-off times for the games will be decided between FCA and their respective opponents shortly. All games will be played behind closed doors, but will be available to watch live on FCA TV.
