FCA on safari at Kruger National Park
The Big Five
Sunday saw FCA enjoy a special highlight of their tour of Mpumalanga, as the team went on safari at the world-famous Kruger National Park. Split into different groups, the players and coaching staff set off to catch a glimpse of the so-called Big Five: lions, elephants, rhinos, buffalo and leopards.
There were incredible sightings of elephants and buffalo, while a number of zebras also passed by, offering the team a true spectacle of nature. The Kruger National Park, which covers almost two million hectares, is the biggest wildlife reserve in South Africa and is among the most significant nature and wildlife reserves in the world.

After the safari, the groups gathered for dinner under the Mpumalanga evening sky. Another chance to experience more of the Kruger National Park’s wildlife awaits on Monday, as the team head off on a morning game drive. Afterwards, they will return to the hotel in White River and begin a week of intensive pre-season training.
