FCA drawn against Karlsruher SC in DFB-Pokal round of 16

Just a few days on from their 3-0 win against FC Schalke 04 in the second round of the DFB-Pokal, FC Augsburg have found out who will await them in the next round. Jess Thorup's side will come up against Karlsruher SC.
he draw was conducted on Sunday evening at the German Football Museum in Dortmund, with DFB sporting director Rudi Völler and saxophonist André Schnura, who went viral during EURO 2024 for his performances at various stadiums, responsible for drawing the ties. FCA will travel to face KSC, who won 2-0 against Kickers Offenback in the second round.
The round of 16 will take place on 3rd and 4th December, with the exact timings to be confirmed in due course.
