DFB's disciplinary board suspends Demirović and Oxford

The DFB’s (German FA) disciplinary board has confirmed suspensions for FCA players Ermedin Demirović and Reece Oxford.
FC Augsburg will be without Ermedin Demirović for three league matches because of “serious foul play”. The Bosnia-Herzegovina international was shown a red card by referee Daniel Schlager in the 1-1 draw against FC Schalke 04 after accidentally catching his opponent in the face with a high boot.
Meanwhile, Reece Oxford has been handed a two-match ban due to “violent conduct” against a player who had fouled him during an appearance for the FC Augsburg U23s in their Regionalliga match against SV Wacker Burghausen. Oxford is unable to appear for any of the club’s teams until his two-game suspension has been served in the fourth tier.
FC Augsburg have accepted the ruling in both cases.
