Demirović, Vargas & Co.: FCA players on international duty
Engels in senior national team squad for training camp

The season isn’t over yet for a few FCA players: Five Augsburg players are heading away with their respective national teams in the shape of Ermedin Demirović, Ruben Vargas, Kevin Mbabu, Arne Engels and Dion Beljo.
Ruben Vargas and Kevin Mbabu are both in Switzerland’s extended squad for the upcoming European Championships in Germany. They are currently preparing for the tournament and the final squad will be named on 7th June. Both FCA have been called up for the friendlies against Estonia on 4th June and Austria on 8th June.
Arne Engels is also with the Belgium senior national team for their training camp. The Red Devils are set to prepare for the looming Euros with two games against Montenegro (5th June) and Luxembourg (8th June).
FCA captain Ermedin Demirović has been named in the Bosnia & Herzegovina squad for their friendlies against England on 3rd June in Newcastle and Italy on 9th June. The Bosnians narrowly missed out on qualification for the Euros, but they will be back in competitive action when the Nations League begins in September.
Beljo called up for the U21s
FCA striker Dion Beljo has also been included in the Croatia U21s national team squad for their friendlies against the Republic of Ireland on 7th June and Sweden four days later on 11th June.
