Mergim Berisha

Mergim Berisha is back! After the striker already provided the Fuggerstädter with goals in the 2022/23 season, the 26-year-old is now returning to the Fuggerstadt on loan. Back then, he was the Red & Greens' top scorer with nine goals and four assists before moving to Kraichgau, where he played for TSG Hoffenheim after his time at FCA. Another career stop for Berisha, who was born in Berchtesgaden, was Fenerbahce Istanbul alongside his training club RB Salzburg.

The German with roots in Kosovo also has two caps for the DFB squad. At FCA, Berisha matured into an international player, which is also one of the reasons why he is looking forward to returning to FCA: “I really wanted to go back to FCA because I had my best time here. I felt good all round, scored a lot of goals and developed enormously”. The striker's loan runs until the end of the season.
