Shawn Parker leaves FCA and joins SpVgg Greuther Fürth

The 25-year-old attacking midfielder Shawn Parker, who had one year left on his contract, has signed for 2. Bundesliga team SpVgg Greuther Fürth for an undisclosed fee. “Even though I was not able to make myself a regular in the team, I always felt very much at home here,” Shawn said. “I want to be playing regular football and to develop as a player. I want to thank everyone who has allowed me to grasp this new opportunity”. “There is no doubt that Shawn Parker has the quality to play in the Bundesliga. He was always fighting injuries which meant he was not able to find his rhythm.
