Lars Knudsen to take over as Denmark U21s coach in the summer

FC Augsburg’s assistant coach Lars Knudsen will leave the club in the summer. Following the end of his contract at FCA, the 48-year-old will take over as Denmark’s U21s coach ahead of the U21 European Championship in Slovakia this summer.
Knudsen has been at FCA since January 2024, initially joining as a set-piece coach before taking on the additional role of assistant coach at the start of this season. FCA also allowed him to gain experience as interim coach of the Danish national side for two internationals breaks last year.
