FCA players on international duty
Seven first-teamers away
For the final time this year, the Bundesliga will pause for an international break. Seven FCA players have been called up to represent their nations.
The Swiss duo of Ruben Vargas and Andi Zeqiri will be in World Cup qualification action in Rome against Italy (Friday, 12th November) and in Lucerne against Bulgaria (Monday, 15th November). Finland and Fredrik Jensen will also play World Cup qualifiers against Bosnia & Herzegovina (Saturday, 13th November) and France (Tuesday, 16th November). The other FCA man involved in this competition is Robert Gumny with Poland, who will take on Andorra (Friday, 12th November) and Hungary (Monday, 15th November).
Carlos Gruezo will have to travel further afield back to South America for his World Cup qualifiers with Ecuador against Venezuela (Thursday, 11th November) and Chile (Tuesday, 16th November).
Elsewhere, Frederik Winther is once again in Denmark U21’s squad for their EURO qualifier in Turkey (Tuesday, 16th November). Lasse Günther and Germany U19s have three matches ahead of them during this international break. They will come up against Faroe Islands (Wednesday, 10th November) and Russia (Saturday, 13th November) in EURO qualifiers, and also play Greece away in a friendly (Tuesday, 16th November).
