12 players called up for international duty
FCA players set to come up against one another
It’s time for the first international break of the new season. 12 FCA players have been selected to represent their national teams.
Dimitris Giannoulis (Greece) and Fredrik Jensen (Finland) are set to face each other on Saturday, 7th September (20:45 CEST) in Piraeus. Ruben Vargas and Switzerland will come up against Denmark on Thursday, 5th September (20:45 CEST). FCA assistant coach Lars Knudsen will be in charge of the Danes on an interim basis for the coming international break.
Elvis Rexhbecaj, who will now represent Kosovo, and Nathanaël Mbuku, who has also changed his national team allegiances, have been called up for the first time. Mbuku will be part of the DR Congo team, along with teammate Samuel Essende.
