Teigl joins Braunschweig on loan
Austrian George Teigl did not travel with the rest of the FCA squad to their winter training camp in Tenerife on Tuesday morning. Instead, the 26-year old was on his way to Niedersachsen to complete his medical before joining second division side Eintracht Braunschweig on loan.
After successfully completing his medical, the Austrian completed his loan move to Eintracht Braunschweig. The loan deal will run until 30th June 2019.
“I am not satisfied with the lack of minutes I have played for FC Augsburg this season. I need game time if I want to develop as a player which is why I have decided to go out on loan to Eintracht Braunschweig,” explained Teigl. He travelled with their squad to the training camp in southern Spain on Wednesday morning.
“In the past, we have had good experiences of sending players out on loan. We are convinced that it is the right decision for his development,” said sporting director Stefan Reuter.
