Renato Veiga loan spell terminated early

FC Augsburg have decided to terminate Renato Veiga’s loan at the club prior to the end of his contract, which was due to run until 31st December 2023. The 20-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder, who made 13 Bundesliga appearances for FCA, will return to his parent club Sporting Lisbon.
“After analysing the first six months of his loan spell, we came to a mutual decision with Renato Veiga to terminate his loan contract. We would like to thank him for his dedication to the club and wish him all the best for his future”, said Stefan Reuter, managing director for sport at FCA.
