FCA resume training after the winter break
A public session amid difficult weather conditions
After a short winter break, FC Augsburg returned to training on Thursday. They kicked off with some tests and strength exercises in the morning before completing a public session in the afternoon.
In windy weather, many young fans in particular flocked to the training ground to watch the session. Passing and positional play were on the agenda. After the session, the fans who braved the weather had the chance to get some autographs and selfies with the players.
The next two public training sessions will take place on Friday and Saturday, both at 10:30 CET. On Monday, FCA will play a friendly against fellow Bundesliga side TSG Hoffenheim behind closed doors.

Full focus on Stuttgart
“We obviously haven’t been able to enjoy our days off as much this year. The defeat in Kiel still hurt during the days afterwards. Now though, we want to start looking ahead. We’re trying to improve in every department, and we’ll need full focus to do that,” said FCA head coach Jess Thorup.
The Fuggerstädter’s first home match of the new year will see them take on VfB Stuttgart on Sunday, 12th January (17:30 CET).
