FCA present limited-edition retro shirt
Sale begins on Sunday
Ermedin Demirović, Phillip Tietz and Co. will play in a unique special-edition kit against SV Werder Bremen on Saturday, 27th April (15:30 CEST). The kit was designed together with kit provider Mizuno to mark the 50th anniversary of the club’s sensational title-winning season in the 1973/74 Regionalliga Süd. A limited number of shirts will be available in the online FCA fan shop from Sunday, 21st April.
The shirt’s design is completely white and has a red and green stripe on the left-hand side, re-imagining the FCA kit from the 1970s. The logos of main sponsor WWK Versicherungen on the chest and Siegmund on the sleeve will be in a tonal white to keep the look of the shirt as close to the original design as possible.

“We’re going on a journey back to the 1970s for the game against Werder Bremen and our special-edition shirt brings helps bring that feeling to life. We’ve managed to create an almost identical jersey to the one worn by Helmut Haller and his teammates in the 1973/74 season. A central feature is the red and green stripe, as well as an old version of the FCA crest from the time, which will also be visible in lots of other areas on matchday,” FCA CEO Michael Ströll highlighted. “A big thank you goes to WWK and Siegmund. Both immediately agreed to forgo displaying the colours of their logos in the interests of the kit’s retro style. It’s only through the tonal style of the sponsor logos that the same look and feel as the original kit is possible.”
