FCA kits for 2019/20 season revealed
As part of the Augsburg “Sommernächte” fair, in which FC Augsburg have taken part for the first time, the club presented the new kits for the 2019/20 season, together with supplier Nike and merchandising partner 11teamsports.
First team players Daniel Baier, André Hahn and Raphael Framberger presented the three new kits after a football freestyler revealed the design of the kit. Making the presentation even more special was the on-stage announcement of a five-year contract extension for Augsburg youth product Raphael Framberger. “It is a dream for me to wear the red, green and white of FCA in the Bundesliga,” said Framberger.
Every team colour integrated into the kit
The home kit, which was presented by captain Daniel Baier, is characterised above all by the fact that it represents all three club colours. In addition to the base colour of white, the jersey has green sleeves and red numbering. This year’s away shirt is black with red applications on the sleeves, with a monochrome red logo and sponsor. The third kit is completely red, with a similar design to the other two shirts.
“We are pleased that, above all, we can unite each of the club’s colours in the design of the home kit. We were made aware of this wish several times from our fans,” said Michael Ströll, the club’s chief executive.
Kit prices hold steady
The prices of the new kit will not rise this season. The new shirt will cost 74.95 Euros, with children’s sizes available for 54.95 Euros.
Acknowledgement goes to main sponsor WWK Versicherungen and sleeve sponsor Siegmund GmbH, which will both be present on the kit for the coming season once again.
The kit is available in the FCA-Online-Fanshop immediately and will be in stock from Friday, 28th June in the club stores on Bahnhofstraße 7 and at the WWK ARENA.
