FCA will be without striker Alfred Finnbogason until after the winter break. The Iceland international picked up a shoulder injury during their European Championship qualifier against Turkey.
After consulting with the doctors, Alfred Finnbogason has opted for a more conservative method of treatment. “Injuries never come at the right time,” the attacker said about his spell on the sidelines. “I’ve had a lot of bad luck over the past few years, but I’ve been feeling in top condition recently. So this injury won’t put me off track.”
The 30-year-old remains optimistic despite the setback: “I will do everything I can to be back with the team in time to prepare for the Rückrunde.” Finnbogason has made nine appearances so far this season, scoring two goals.
