Following Jan Movarek and Christoph Janker, FC Augsburg have extended the contract of another player before the restart of the season against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. Forward Raul Bobadilla has been with the club since 2013 and has extended his contract for an additional two years, keeping him at the club until 2020. “Raul knows how good this club is for him and we know how good he is for the club,” said a happy Stefan Reuter on the contract extension of the 29-year-old. “Raul is a player who can make the difference and he will continue to add quality to our team.”
“I’m very happy about the trust that I’m receiving here. I feel extremely comfortable at this club and in the team and I want to secure many more victories and success here. For now, I just want to get back to full fitness after difficult six months where I was sidelined by injury. I want to get back to helping the team,” said the Argentine born striker after his contract extension.
