From New York to Curaçao – the FCA summer holiday

An energy-sapping season, which saw FCA achieve their goal of staying in the top flight, is firmly behind the Augsburg players. Time then for the players to get away from the spotlight of the Bundesliga, recharge their batteries and spend time with their families. Jeffrey Gouweleeuuw has packed his suitcase and has decided to holiday on the Dutch Caribbean Island Curaçao – an island that could loosely be considered his homeland. Kostas Stafylidis is, however, definitely spending time in his native land, as the left-back is enjoying the sun in Mykonos. Just across the Mediterranean is Georg Teigl, who is on the island of Mallorca with is fiancé Karin. The two have maybe come across Jonathan Schmidt and his wife Mélina, who are relaxing on the Belearic Islands. Daniel Baier also finds himself in Spain, where he’s enjoying some quality time with his family. Philipp Max has decided to venture a little further than most, as he’s holidaying in the Seychelles. Alfred Finnbogason has opted for an entirely different kind of vacation, as the Icelander has travelled to the Big Apple to enjoy the sights.
