Timon Pauls to take over as head scout at Augsburg

FC Augsburg have hired Timon Pauls, currently the head youth scout for Bayern München, as the club’s new head scout. Pauls will begin his term on May 1. The 26-year-old accepted a long-term offer from Augsburg. “We’re excited to have Timon Pauls bring his expertise in scouting to us. We’re certain that his knowledge and connections will be a good fit for our own philosophy, which centers on developing young players from within our own ranks,” said Stefan Reuter, sporting director for Augsburg. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of taking on the role as head scout at Augsburg. I’d like to thank those at the club who have put their trust in me to fill this position. It’s a great opportunity for me to be able to work for a well-managed and ambitious club,” said Timon Pauls.
