In Augsburg’s next home match against Werder Bremen, Philipp Max and Ja-Cheol Koo were both on the scoresheet as FCA came from 2-0 down to draw level shortly after half-time. However, FCA conceded an unfortunate third goal and fell to a 3-2 defeat. Substitute Götze secures point against former club FC Bayern FCA made the short journey to Munich to face FC Bayern in their next match. The record German champions are not usually a side that you would face to start a run of good form. However, FCA played courageous and secured a valuable 1-1 draw in the Bavarian derby. Substitute Felix Götze came off the bench to score his first ever Bundesliga against his former club. Following this impressive point in the Allianz Arena, FCA secured their first home victory of the season just a week later.
