Finnbogason: “Now the body does what the brain tells it to do!”

First Team 09.11.2018, 01:40
FC Augsburg travel to Hoffenheim on Saturday 10th November (15:30 CET) for their away game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. With the team, is Alfred Finnbogason, who has been in excellent form recently. The striker is now completely injury-free and wants to get on the scoresheet against Hoffenheim. When FC Augsburg face Hoffenheim on the upcoming weekend, Alfred Finnbogason wants to throw himself into the game. “I want to put in a very good performance, but I need to be somewhat cautious having only just come back from injury. Now the body does what the brain tells it to do!” The Iceland international appraised the upcoming opposition. “I watched Hoffenheim in the Champions League last night. It was very impressive that they got a result, especially with one man down and being 2-0 down. They deserve respect. It will be a difficult game for us. We have always played well but not always got the result we wanted. We have to change that now!” Good harmony between Gregoritsch and Finnbogason FCA head coach Manuel Baum knows how tough the game will be against Hoffenheim. “Hoffenheim are always a tough game, they score lots of goals. It will be lots of fun for you to watch. They are superb going forward and all in all have a very well balanced team.” Baum’s offensive duo Finnbogason and Michael Gregoritsch are able to play together: “Gregerl and Alfred work superbly together. They both know what the other will do!” Jan Moravek, Christoph Janker, André Hahn and Fabian Giefer will not travel with the squad, all due to injury. https://youtu.be/KJDEPU2MBHc
