FCA training camp to be held in Tenerife

FC Augsburg still have five Bundesliga fixtures remaining this calendar year, the last of which will be a home game against SC Freiburg, before the players can enjoy a short winter break. Head coach Manuel Baum will hold several days of training for his players before the turn of the year to prepare for the second half of the season. The team will undergo some medical tests on Thursday 28th December. Training sessions are planned on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th December on the training pitches at the WWK ARENA. The FCA squad will travel to the Tenerife, the biggest of the Canary Islands, for a training camp after the turn of the year. FCA will arrive at the accommodation on Tuesday 2nd January 2018 and will be training in preparation for the second half of the season until they leave on Sunday 7th January 2018. The first fixture thereafter will be a home game against Hamburger SV on Saturday 13th January, which kicks off at 15:30 CET.
