FCA loan Michael Gregoritsch to FC Schalke 04

Forward Michael Gregoritsch will not wear FCA colours in the second half of the season. Augsburg have approved a loan offer for the Austrian from fellow Bundesliga side FC Schalke 04 until 30th June 2020. The financial details of the loan deal are undisclosed.
"Michael Gregoritsch is dissatisfied with his personal situation because he wants more playing time," said FCA sporting director Stefan Reuter. "As there was a concrete offer on the table from Schalke 04 in which we see a win-win situation for everyone involved, we decided to loan him until the end of the season."
“I see this loan to Schalke as an opportunity and I look forward to the challenge. I would particularly like to get more time so I can stake my claim for the European Championship with Austria,” says Michael Gregoritsch.
