Ahead of the Bavarian derby against FC Bayern Munich on Saturday the 1st of April (15:30 CET), head coach Manuel Baum will have to do without just over a handful of players who are away with their respective countries. The two South Koreans, Dong-Won Ji and Ja-Cheol Koo, as well as the Japanese Takashi Usami, will kick off the FCA international break on the 23rd of March. South Korea will contest a World Cup qualifier with China in Changsha, while Usami's Japan face the United Arab Emirates in Al Ain - also a World Cup qualifier. Ji and Koo will then return to action on Tuesday the 28th, as they and their South Korea teammates come up against Syria in Seoul. On the same day, Usami's Japan play Thailand in Saitama. Martin Hinteregger and the Austria national team have their first game of the year on Friday the 24th, as they host Moldova in Vienna in a World Cup qualifier. Four days later, a friendly match against Finland in Innsbruck is on the schedule (28/03). On Saturday the 25th, Konstantinos Stafylidis' Greece travel to Brussels for a World Cup qualifier against Belgium - the only game of their international break. Switzerland and Marwin Hitz will also only play a single game this international break. On Saturday the 25th, they will come up against Latvia in a World Cup qualifier. Due to Achilles tendon issues, Kohr will not travel to the Germany U21s' training camp. Also, after having to be substituted off against SC Freiburg due to an injury, Kevin Danso is unable to accept his call-up to the Austria U19s.
