FC Augsburg finish off the week of hectic fixtures with a visit to Berlin, on Sunday 9th April (15:30 CEST), as they look to get back to winning ways against Hertha BSC. Read the most important facts on the game here. Celebration: Our captain Paul Verhaegh made his 200th appearance for FCA against Ingolstadt. A fantastic number! Although he managed to score a goal and provide an assist, he would have rather won the three points. Goals few and far between: Over the last seven games since Hertha were promoted for the 2013/14 season, there has never been more than one goal in a game between the two sides. There has been one 1-0 win for Augsburg, two 1-0 losses, and four goalless draws. Paul Verhaegh was the goalscorer in Augsburg’s latest victory. The overall record for the two teams stands even at two wins, five draws, and two losses. Reunion: Sebastian Langkamp and Alexander Esswein will be two familiar faces for the Augsburg outfit. Whilst Langkamp left for Berlin in 2013, Esswein only followed suit at the start of the season. Gojko Kacar and Christoph Janker are the two former Hertha players who are a part of the Augsburg squad. Poor form: FC Augsburg have acquired just two points from the last five games (draws against Leipzig and Freiburg). Hertha haven’t been doing so well either since the turn of the year, losing four of their last five and winning just once, against Borussia Dortmund. Return: After Hertha’s captain and top-scorer (11 goals, 4 assists), Vedad Ibisevic, missed the encounter against Mönchengladbach (five yellow cards), the Bosnian will be back in the line-up. Kings from the spot: Amongst all active Bundesliga players, captain Paul Verhaegh (18) and Vedad Ibisevic (17) have scored the most penalties.
